Solar Mate 3 is a solar powered lighting kit in a box! If you need mains quality lighting in a location where there is no mains power, such as your workshop, shed, summer house, garden office, garage, or stables, Solar Mate is the answer.

In the box is a solar panel, flourescent lights and all the fixings you'll need to light 32m sq. for up to 11 hours every day (even in Britain) - just add a storage battery.

The Solar Mate solar powered lighting kits address the problem of illuminating areas where there's no mains power, and can be easily and safely installed by anyone (and is also exempt from Part P of the Building regulations).

Using purely the energy of the sun, Solar Mate’s solar panel will collect enough energy during the course of a day (even in Britain) to power its bulb for between 8 and 11 hours every day of the year (8 hours in the winter – 11 hours for the rest for the year).

Solar Mate has a 10 year warranty so will easily pay back its investment many times.

The Solar Mate 3 kit is for larger buildings and will illuminate a 32 square meter area.

NB A battery is required and is not supplied
(a 75 or 85 Ah car / caravan battery is recommended available from most motoring / caravanning shops)
The kit has a 10 year warranty excluding the bulb
The flourescent bulbs are rated at 8watts each - equivalent to 40watt bulbs.
The solar panel has a 35 year life expectancy
